Tymon Park Calisthenics, Dublin.
Irish Fencing Services completed a new Calisthenic Park within Tymon Park Dublin. This project was a new and exciting opportunity for us, A new product requiring considerable Site-works, Landscape Design and close coordination with our client South Dublin County Council and Civils Contractor, West Side Civils. Initially our Contracts Manager Eoin Ennis visited the site for consultations with the design team and users about the installation requirements and layout for the exciting new range of sports equipment a programme of works was established and an installation crew selected.
The project was executed by one of our certified site crews. After installation of the equipment the entire site was finished with special engineering grade bark to give the park a high quality appearance as well as providing safe ground for people to use the equipment.
The job was completed in a safe manner with Irish Fencing Services supplying and installing protection barriers to ensure the safety of the public, by preventing inadvertent entry to the site. The job was completed with zero incidents and in a timely manner.
Health & Safety Responsibilities
We worked closely with South Dublin County Council on this project in terms of H&S to ensure the highest standards were met. Our H&S officer prepared method statements along with risk assessments on this project which ensured all hazardous areas were clearly stated and proper preventative measures were put in place.
Part of our H&S Officers role was liaising with our Contracts Manager & County Council Engineers and other Contractors ensuring that all our team members were fully trained and tickets were relevant to the particular contract at hand.
