Client Vision
We recently completed a package of 3 Jobs for Modulacc in Berrings National School, Berrings, Co. Cork, St. Johns National School, Shannon, Co. Clare, and St. Fergus National School, Glin, Co. Limerick.
Key Challenges
Modulacc prefabricated the Classroom Units in their Limerick Plant and delivered and installed on site to a very tight schedule, we fitted our railings and gates to a preformed concrete plinth provided for us.
Overcoming the Challenges
This was an exciting overall project, Brian Healy our Munster Area Manager co ordinated with Stephen Gahan Modulacc’s Project Manager. We worked to the site designs provided to us by the customer fabricated the three jobs in our Inchicore Factory had them Hot Dipped Galvanised to by Galco to I.S. EN ISO 1461:2022 and subsequently finish Powder Coated by Sprint Powder Coatings to the Qualisteel Standard using our Playspec Bow top railing which meets ROSPA requirements for child safety and had the materials fabricated before the siteworks commenced.
Succesful Outcomes
Modular construction minimises delivery times and reduces risks with adverse weather conditions or site issues. As a side effect the disciplines necessary in Off site fabrication and installation on site enforce preplanning of water waste electricity and site structures such as Fencing and Gates which speeds up the process and avoids errors.
