Acoustic Fencing – Noise Barrier

The growing impact of noise on people, planning and architecture has increased demand for acoustic fencing solutions across a wide variety of applications from housing and schools to transport and retail in domestic, industrial and motorway applications and meet with all the relevant statutory requirements in regard to manufacturing standards, treatment etc. Noise control is a key environmental issue and our range of barriers will provide solutions in many locations such as those adjacent all noise sources railways, roads, factories and play areas for example the use of our acoustic fencing can improve the comfort of your home or workplace.

There are two distinct forms of acoustic fence.

Reflective reflects the noise away using a special profile that has been carefully developed to locate the boards in such a way that eliminates gaps that sound can easily travel through.

Absorbent which contains an absorptive layer, covered with a protective membrane which is incorporated on one side of the reflective surface to further reduce noise by an average of 4dB in accordance with A3 or B3 noise reduction coefficient in accordance with BS EN 1793 & BS EN 1794.
