The park includes an athletic track, playing fields, tennis courts, basketball court, children's playground and a state of the art cycling velodrome. It is the home of Lourdes Celtic and has a number of GAA pitches used by Local clubs.
Dublin City Council decided too upgrade the Parks Depot to cover the Southern Region of the City and @Dorman Architects were commissioned for the Project. The Main Contractors were @Tolmac Construction. Eoin Ennis worked with Paddy Gallagher and Gary Montgomery of Tolmac Construction to schedule and install the fencing to their requirements.
The major parts of our work involved Perimeter security fencing, Automated Sliding Gates, internal gates, window guards and an external gate incorporating a reproduction of a famous photo of Eamonn Ceannt who was one of the seven men to sign the Proclamation of Independence for the Irish Republic in 1916 playing the Uilleann pipes he was the founder of The Pipers Club.
Using a technology from our longtime suppliers @Graepels called @Graepels Picture Perf this transfers a Photo or Design to a sheet of perforated metal. We Fabricated a Gate too illustrate the historic background to the name of The Park.
