Client Vision
The Client was moving to a fully integrated Security, Alarm, CCTV Access Control and Fencing as an upgrade to their premises. To meet the technical requirements of the other systems Kilmainham Mesh was selected.
Key Challenges
BWG Food at their existing Cash & Carry premises in Little Island, Cork, wanted a new, modern fence and sliding gate to be supplied and installed whilst they were upgrading their security on site. RMI - Risk Management International designed and were co coordinating security systems, incorporating Electronics and CCTV, Access Control and Fencing.
Overcoming The Challenges
The design and Installation support was provided by Brian Healy of our Cork Office, newly located to Kilbarry Business & Technology Park.
We started by removing existing palisade fencing, which was disassembled and stored on site to be reused in another location and followed by installing 150mtrs of 2.4m high Kilmainham 358 Mesh, a sliding gate & pedestrian gate on the perimeter of the facility.
This is our highest-grade stock security fence and offers significant delay time to enable supporting CCTV and Security personnel sufficient time to respond to an attempted intrusion

All gates were fabricated in our Manufacturing Facility in Inchicore, Dublin. The gates and railings were then installed by our certified installers
Satisfactory Outcomes
Coincidentally the original project for BWG some 25 years ago was supervised by Brians Father Der Healy. Another example of a repeat client.
