Rathfarnham Castle, Dublin.

Irish Fencing Services supplied, and installed 70M powder coated Killarney estate railings and a double leaf gate to Rathfarnham Castle. The job entailed working on behalf of SDCC. The proposed estate railing is to keep in line with the historic look. The railings were finished with a black 9005 colour and with a timber skirting on the bottom of each panel.

The railing had ornamental pieces to the top of each corner posts giving a historic clean look that the client was happy with. We worked closely with the our design team to ensure a simple but aesthetic look was achieved.

 Health & Safety Responsibilities

We worked closely with South Dublin County Council on this project in terms of H&S to ensure the highest H&S standards were met. Our H&S officer prepared method statements along with risk assessments on this project which ensured all hazardous areas were clearly stated and proper preventative measures were put in place. Part of our H&S Officers role was liaising with our Contracts Manager & County Council engineers ensuring that all our team members were fully trained, and all certs and tickets were relevant to the particular contract at hand.
