We use equipment from Nice Spa. of Italy for our domestic gate automation. Swing gates can be automated in three ways.1) Below ground operators where the gate pivots on the motors.2) Above ground Swing Operators: Electro/mechanical or hydraulic arms mounted from the gate post or pier and fixed to the gate frame, or an articulated arm which needs a large pillar to be mounted and is again fitted to the gate frame. 3) Sliding or cantilever, A drive motor working on a toothed rack site fixed to the gate drives sliding and cantiliver gates. There are numerous options available to operate the gate but standard systems include radio transmitters, digital keypad and audio intercom. |
